How to Find Zen in the Workplace

After the busy holiday season, it’s easy to feel over-taxed heading into the new year, but as leaders in the senior care industry, it’s important to nurture our own well-being to better serve others. Senior Living professionals learned how to navigate 2018 with direction, intention and mindfulness from Greta Wenzel, a yoga instructor at Green Lotus Yoga and Healing Center at an event hosted by The Sanctuary at West St. Paul in conjunction with East Side Marketing.  

Greta shared strategies for achieving mindfulness through exercise and yoga stretches—all of which can be done from your own workspace! It’s a unique and effective way to reduce stress and tackle the daily strains of our professional and personal lives.

Greta has a degree in psychology, coached collegiate rowing and has written and taught creative curriculum content at area schools. She has been practicing yoga for almost 25 years and is passionate about bringing yoga to a variety of populations, including seniors through chair-based yoga, those with Alzheimer’s high school athletes, homeless mothers and children at shelters and task-specific ergonomic classes in the workplace.
